CAP-e testing validated the absorption and protection of Reserve inred blood cells
for oxidative stress.
CAP-e Test Protocol: Reserve is dissolved in ethyl alcohol (water solvent)
and PBS (non-water solvent). The red blood cells are put in the two Reserve
solutions with a peroxyl-free-radical generator (AAPH) and a florescent
indicator dye. The amount of oxidative damage is measured by the change
in the indicator dye. The results are then compared to the control (Gallic acid)*
